Concrete Sink And Tub In Bathroom #2

Recycled Fly Ash Concrete Poured in place concrete baths, sink, and countertops are constructed using 50% fly ash- the non-combustible portion of coal after it is burned in a power plant. Fly ash improves the strength of concrete and allows the use of less water, while at the same time conserving resources by recycling this waste product. In the downstairs bathroom we created the sink, vanity, towel storage, and deep soaking tub in a single concrete pour. The result is a sculptural object that is both light, defying gravity, and massive with its thick edged and deep cuts. 01_Y_1 Jeremy Levine Design www.jeremylevine.com
